The ruins where the Abyssal Wyrmguard was discovered had been buried beneath the ocean for centuries.
No one knows what civilization once stood there. Its halls were empty, its statues had been worn smooth by the water, and every written record had long since faded.
Only the ring remained untouched.
Those who recovered it claimed to hear something moving far below the ruins as they escaped. Some believe the ring belonged to a guardian that protected the lost kingdom from whatever waits in the deepest parts of the ocean.
The truth was never discovered.
But the ring still feels strangely warm whenever it is taken near deep water.
